BUDA CASTLE stories, legends

The Castle is a separate,closed area in the middle of the city. 13 kings, who came from 15 genus walked on these  crooked, cobblestone streets. 284 wells on 3 levels provided drinking water for the inhabitants in the underground caves system.

It is because the Buda Castle Hill almost a shell structure, which is empty inside. About the caves found here lot of horror stories, legends were left to us.  It was rumored, for example, some of the few Buda pashas walled up the bored harem girls in the depths. Many people were searching for an alleged Turkish treasures in the depht of the Castle Hill - unsuccessfully.

INTERESTING, MYSTICAL STORY

In the last century people imagined the homes of "black counts" where the imagined ghosts used to live underground. The today's researchers, however, haven't found nor bored harem girls remains and treasure, nor Counts skeletons. However, we can find a lot of interesting things, mystical stories, a real regal experience in the middle of the city, even we can learn about what was Sissy's breakfast, how did the Palace initially looked like inside and what was the pet of King Matthias!
