EGER Sightseeing

Eger is one of the country's oldest baroque town of Hungary. After 1.5 hour trip from the capital you can already experience the traditional small-town atmosphere. Eger is famous not only of its history, but also of its winemakers and wines, as well as the thermal baths. During the walking tour you can see many brightly painted houses decorated with iron balconies, which provide together an unforgettable experience for everyone. The medieval castle situated on a small hill. After learning about the city's attractions it is possible to taste the famous sparkling wines and wines, which are excellent in this region.

The tour includes:

Walking in the Eger Castle, Dobó Square, visiting the Town Hall and the Károly Eszterházy Teacher Training College, where we look at the exhibited astronomical equipments, then walk through the city, nearby the Turkish minaret, and taste some wines in wine cellars.
