PÉCSI SIGHTSEEING

Pécs city, founded in the second century has always been a multi-ethnic town, where variety of cultural influences were mixed with each other, various ethnic traditions and values were combined. The traces of the 150 years Turkish occupation almost everywhere can be found in the city until today. During the tour we will visit the Turkish memories (pasha Gazi Kasim's mosque/dzhami/, Idris Baba's  octagonal tomb (türbe), Jakovali Hassan's mosque, Pasha Memi's baths), the Zsolnay wells, ancient Christian tombs (part of the World Heritage) and the Basilica. We can walk through the beautiful squares and charming little  streets passing the lover's padlock.
