BUDAPEST SIGHTSEEING

Budapest would not exist without the the river, without the Danube Queen. The Danube has defined the city for thousand of years, enlivened it. Central Market

One of the most fascinating and "most popular" building the Central Market, which since 1897 considered as "Budapest's stomach." There were five large halls in Budapest at this time, all built in a similar style and all of them were opened on the same day. It is the largest Hall, hence its name: the "Central". In the past, cargo ships were coming directly here under the hall through the 120 m long direct channel from the river - where the ships were loaded in and out.
